Wellhouse AFC  2  V  1  Denny. 

Wellhouse AFC started well in this cup tie.  We were prepared for Denny Amateurs and had a few chances in the first 20min but we could put the ball in the net. However our reward came in 23mins with a good move down the right - a good pass by George Scott to Alan Templeton who ran 20 yards and put the ball past the keeper from about 12yards to see us go in at half time with this 1-0 lead.  We were not long into the second half when Wellhouse AFC had a throw in. Zanda Simpson gave the ball to Gary who put a great ball through to George Scott and from 25 yards he chipped the goal keeper for our second goal.  Denny to their credit did still keep at us and for some reason the referee decided to add on 8 minutes. Denny used this time to put pressure on the Wellhouse AFC defence and was rewarded a corner kick.  This corner kick was placed into the heart of the penalty box and Denny managed to score.  The game finished 2-1 for Wellhouse AFC.
