Leith Athletic  2  V  1  Wellhouse AFC 

Wellhouse AFC got of to a bad start with Pauls mini bus breaking down on the motorway just past Airdrie.  Kicked off was put back to 2pm to allow us to make alternative arrangements.  The game started off good but we lost a goal midway through the first half although we had a chance or two ourselves but couldn't find the net.

Second half again started well as we started where we left off.  We made a couple of chances, one was put over the bar from 4 yards - what a miss.  With about 5 minutes to go we got a corner kick. Greame Watt took it and somehow managed to score from the corner kick, making the game end 1-1 and sending the game into extra time. Extra time continued the same way and again Leith scored, it was a bad goal to lose.  Again Wellhouse missed chances especially when we were awarded a penalty kick within the last few minutes.  Craig Smith stepped up to face the Leith goalkeeper but to our anguish the keeper saved it. The game then ended 2-1 to Leith.
