Match Reports:
Saturday 10th Novemver 2007:
Brightos 2 V 0 Wellhouse AFC .
Another bad result for Wellhouse AFC at Brightons new park in Falkirk. The first 20min it was even then Brightons broke down the left wing and hit over a cross (it was one of those ones crosses come shot) as it ended up in the net - bad goal to give away. In spite of loosing this early goal we kept going at them then but whilst we attacked Brightons defence they managed to get up the park and before we knew it we lost a second goal 5 minutes before half time.
Wellhouse AFC were awarded a penalty kick when Robert Frew was brought down in the box - the referee had no doubt in pointing straight to the spot. Graeme Watt took the penalty but blasted the ball over the bar (a bad miss). During the second half Wellhouse AFC got themselves back together and kept attacking the Brightons defence but they were a hard team to breakdown as they played a 4-5-1 system with great success.
