Saturday 25th August 2007:

Wellhouse AFC  1  V  0  Redbrae.

This was our first league win of the season.  We played very well in first half with a couple of chances, although the score remained 0-0.  The second half was only minutes old when Gary scored.  He hit a good shot and it took a deflection into the net, a great start of the second half!  Minutes later Gary nearly scored again with the same sort of move, only for the ball to go inches wide of the post.  Gary Kilday also had a chance but the keeper blocked his shot but as it broke again to Gary to have a second chance it was blocked by Redbrae defence.  Wellhouse AFC had produced an excellent performance and deserved the 1-0 victory.
