Saturday 27th October 2007:

Wellhouse AFC  2  V  4 Colville Park.

Wellhouse AFC went one goal up through Davy Fisher who scoring from 6yds.  This was however a very short lead as Colville Park scored a minute later.  This remained the score until Wellhouse AFC scored just before half time through Craig Smith with a shot from 18 yards which nipped in between the goal keeper and the left back to give Wellhouse AFC a 2-1 score at half time.  The second half seen Colville Park make good use of the wind as they played lot of high balls into our penalty box. This approach however worked for them as they got a soft penalty kick when the ball came off Davy fisher's hand.  Colville Park took advantage of the penalty to bring the score level at 2-2.  This would seem to be the turning point as from then on Colville Park took control of the game  as they then scored a third goal and refused to settle for this result as before the end of the game they managed to net yet another goal.  The final score was Wellhouse AFC 2 - Colville Park 4.
