Wellhouse Amateur Football Club (founded on 12th September 1976)

www.wellhouseafc.co.uk is the official website for Wellhouse Amateur Football Club.

Wellhouse AFC was founded by Robert Noble on 12th September 1976 whilst having a kick about one Sunday afternoon in the 'Ogilvie' Primary School in Easterhouse with a few of the local lads.  Once we decided to form a team I then attended a meeting in the YMCA hall in Possil Park it all went from there.

All these years later and Wellhouse AFC is proudly still continuing. Wellhouse AFC are based in Glasgow's east end and have always played in the Easterhouse area of the city.  Our club started in the YMCA. League. The following season we joined the famous Glasgow City and Suburban League.  We stayed in this league for 4 seasons, then joined Airdrie and Coatbridge League which is now the John Smith Central Scottish AFL.

Our home park is played at Stepford Road Sports Park, 1514 Edinburgh Road, Glasgow, G33 4EQ. Tel:0141 773 2363 (Directions to the park can be downloaded by selecting clicking on Directions to our home park on the left hand side or by clicking here)
